About Us:
WOWVI Video is a growing video production company, part of the WOWVI Group, which also includes businesses in commercial design and exhibition stands. We are seeking a capable and experienced Finance Manager to oversee the finances across the group of companies. If you’re someone who can manage the day-to-day financial operations while also contributing to the bigger financial picture, this could be the perfect role for you.

The Role:
As the Finance Manager at WOWVI, you will be responsible for managing the group’s financial operations, reporting directly to the group’s CEO. You’ll handle daily bookkeeping tasks, manage debtors and creditors, and support the business with accurate reporting, cash flow forecasting, and budgeting advice. You’ll also play a key role in helping us improve financial systems and processes to ensure efficiency as the business grows.

This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety, perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can balance the details with the bigger financial picture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping & Daily Financial Operations: Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including managing debtors and creditors, invoicing, and payments across the group companies.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor and forecast cash flow to ensure financial stability and support business growth.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular financial reports, including monthly management accounts and financial performance updates for senior management.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Work with the leadership team to advise on future budgets and help prepare accurate financial forecasts.
  • Statutory Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, including tax filings and year-end accounts.
  • Systems & Process Improvement: Review and implement efficient financial systems and processes to support the business as it expands.
  • Advisory Role: Provide insights and recommendations on financial best practices, helping to shape the overall financial strategy for the WOWVI Group.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the wider team to ensure financial information is transparent, accurate, and supports business decisions.

About You:
We’re looking for a Finance Manager who can confidently manage the day-to-day finances while also thinking strategically about the future. You should be highly organised, with a good eye for detail, and capable of working independently. If you enjoy rolling up your sleeves and getting involved in both operational and more strategic financial management, this role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing business.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably with experience across multiple businesses or group companies.
  • Strong bookkeeping skills, including managing debtors, creditors, invoicing, and payments.
  • Experience with cash flow forecasting and financial reporting.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting software (Xero or similar).
  • Solid understanding of financial regulations and statutory compliance.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial data clearly and confidently.
  • Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • A proactive and hands-on approach to problem-solving.

Desirable:

  • Experience working in creative industries or with SMEs.
  • Professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).

Are you someone who thrives in a busy office environment, with the ability to stay organised and keep everything running smoothly? We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Admin Support professional to join WOWVI Video, based at our head office in Wakefield. You’ll play a key role in supporting the team and ensuring day-to-day operations are seamless across all areas of the business.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your role will be varied and essential to the smooth running of the office and wider operations in a busy and fast-growing marketing group. From answering calls and managing visitors to handling the administration of key contracts such as utilities and insurance renewals, you’ll be the backbone of the office. You’ll ensure that the office is well-organised and all supplies are maintained. You’ll also provide key project support, working closely with different teams to source items and services, and ensuring all logistical needs are met.

A Typical Week Might Look Like This:

  • You’ll be managing the office, ensuring everything is running smoothly, from handling incoming calls and welcoming visitors to overseeing office supplies and ensuring all logistical needs are met.
  • You’ll coordinate team travel and accommodation arrangements, support team members with bookings, and help organise internal events, ensuring that all plans are in place and run seamlessly.
  • Dealing with accounts admin will also be part of your role. This includes handling accounts enquiries, managing invoices and receipts, liaising with suppliers, and ensuring payments are processed on time.
  • Throughout the week, you’ll handle a variety of administrative tasks such as filing, reviewing insurance renewals, managing utilities, and acting as the point of contact for external vendors and service providers.
  • You’ll also generate reports as needed, making sure that data and key details are accurate and up to date for internal use, and providing vital support across different projects when required.
  • You’ll also work closely with the CEO, assisting with key operational and strategic tasks to support the overall running and growth of the business.

 

Who You Are

You’re someone who thrives on staying organised and ensuring everything runs smoothly. You’re able to manage a variety of tasks, from small administrative duties to larger project support, all while maintaining a calm and composed approach during busy periods. With excellent communication skills, you work well across teams and external contacts, always keeping a positive and proactive attitude.

 

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Experience producing accurate and high-quality information under deadlines.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and other essential office software.
  • A proven track record of providing exceptional support to both colleagues and clients.
